" Stimulate " - Eminem
If you need more proof that Eminem fell off lyrically, just listen to this Eminem Show reject. The concept covers the same tired ground as "White America", "Without Me", "Who Knew" and too many other songs where he raps about how controversial his raps are.
"My music can be slightly amusing / You shouldn't take lyrics so serious, it might be confusing," he says; "Tryna separate the truth from entertainment / It's stupid, ain't it? I get sick of tryna explain it." What I don't think he realizes is that a lot of fans are getting sick of hearing him tryna explain it. Nevertheless, other than the topics covered, the verses aren't bad. Of course, what ultimate saves the track from another mediocre rating is the slow, sinister beat (laced with clever drums and dark guitars); which sort of sounds like a cross between D12's "These Drugs" and "American Psycho"; and I love the melodious background-singing on the chorus. All in all, the track is nothing new or spectacular, but it is good overall; which is more than I can say for "White America", "Without Me", "The Way I Am" and too many other songs where he raps about how controversial his raps are. My Rating = 4 (of 5) | |||

:D @ White America, Without Me and Who Knew in ascending order of dopeness
:D @ a "good" song is apparently still better than over 80% of all the songs you've ever heard |

I haven't heard the song, but I agree that he should rap for his fans, not his critics.

Now that I've heard this track, I'd have to give it a 2/5 at most. It is certainly an Eminem Show reject, in my opinion it's much worse than "The Way I Am," "White America," or even "Without Me."
