song

" I Shoulda Wore A Condom "

Marcel Lee

This song has me playing the role of a fool, rather a wise young man who simply messed-up and did something foolish one night, by surrendering to the power of carnal lust and sexing a young lady without any kind of protection from sexually-transmitted diseases... and worse.

For a guy who "dont ever want a daughter or a son", that 'worse' comes in the form of a phone-call a few months later; devastating news that would change my life forever.

From there, it's a musical comtemplation of despondency and regret. If I could turn back the hands of time, I would. But I cant, so I sing the chorus and rap the verses frantically; relying on not much more than the possibility that "she's playing with me" to keep myself from going off the deep end.

If nothing else; the track serves as a reminder to guys world-wide that something as simple as a condom can mean the difference between good times and the end of the world (as you know it) when it comes to having sex with sluts you hardly know and dont want babies from.
