"Livin In The City" - Marcel Lee + Frank B ... (Song)
*
The title says it all. The two of us basically cover the elements of living life in the boisterous city of Detroit, Michigan.
From the trademark car-jacking ("He ain't even had to grab the gat, he had a bat") to the constant murder ("Ain't no surprise when a child is slain / You can hear the gun-shots from a mile a way"), we spit game like true vets; over a grimey beat, produced by Frank B himself.
While some critics may argue that the track represents some sort of dark pride; glorifying the gloomy nature of the city; for me, it just paints an accurate picture of the place we call home.
